For all those thrill seekers.... The water levels on the Mighty Zambezi have dropped enough for low water rafting to begin. The rapids are bigger, the water is quicker and there is lots more fun. Starting at the "Boiling Pot" (rapid 1) the rush continues all the way to rapid 25. For those visiting the Falls, the rafting is highly recommended.
The Zambezi festival begins on the 25 September and runs through to 31 October. Includes music, arts, food, street performers, cultural events and more. The festival starts with a regatta between Cambridge V Oxford V South African Universities. You can keep up to date with events by linking to Livingstone Tourism Facebook group.
