South Africa - Glamping in the Kruger

As mentioned in previous blogs, September is the month we focus on South Africa, one of the best months to do a safari in Southern Africa. Game viewing is at its best.

Many requests we have received over the years for the Kruger are from couples or groups that have mixed requests in terms of accommodation, one party wants a traditional bush camping experience and the other wants their comforts, we think we have the perfect compromise.

This week we are very excited to introduce our Kruger Glamping Experience. The package itself is run much the same way our other safaris work in that we include transfers to and from Johannesburg as well as all the game drives that are so much a big part of any safari. Of course, guests can self-drive or fly into Mbombela (Nelspruit) if they prefer.  The accommodation is what makes it so special.

The camp is based on the Sabi river area, a game rich area centred between the Kruger and the well known Sabi Sands game reserve. Clients are accommodated in spacious Elevated Meru tents. Each tent has two single beds and its own private ablutions complete with shower and his and hers basins. A beautiful view of the bush can be admired from your own patio and seating area.

As with most of our other packages we have always aimed to offer affordable prices. This is a unique way of doing a Kruger safari, up and going for 2 months with excellent feedback, we do hope you will join us on this. Currently there is only 8 tents so if it is something you are considering do let us know in advance. We have a 2-day, 3-day, 4-day and 5-day option available depending on your time frame.
