Wow! what an unprecedented time we are living in. It has been a while since I posted. It is the first time in twenty years that I have not had a client on the road, not had an adventure on the way to see the mighty Zambezi or been busy helping clients prepare for their first safari or first glimpse of the Serengeti.
We have hunkered down and are weathering the storm.
Most importantly I must thank the many clients who agreed to postpone their travel to 2021 or later. It was very humbling to deal with folk who realise the position the African Travel industry is in. With limited support from local governments, clients who postponed have given us the hope and impetus to carry on. I cannot comment enough of how much this makes a difference to peoples’ livelihoods and prospects for the future. Tourism contributes so much to developing countries. Thank you again.
As a team we have got together from our homes and are mapping the way forward so we can come out stronger at the end of it.
We have already started bringing out our 2021 travel dates and are developing new protocols for safe travel. Tanzania has already opened, and we have some great new short trips to share on our website.
