Day 1: South Africa – Cedarberg Mountains
Today our adventure begins as we make our way to the magnificent Cedarberg region, home to the Rooibos bush. Later at our overnight stop, we have a chance to get to know our fellow travelers.

Day 2: Namaqualand – Gariep (Orange) River
Namaqualand portrays some stunning Desert scenery as we travel north. We stop over in Springbok to gather supplies and head towards our camp on the banks of the Orange river. If we are traveling in the seasonal months, we can see an array of wild spring flowers scattered within the beautiful landscape. It doesn’t matter what season it is though, the unusual landscape will not disappoint.

Day 3: Namibia – Gariep (Orange) River – Fish River Canyon
We have a chance today to take an optional canoe trip down the Gariep River. After lunch we leave the river and start making our way to the borders of Namibia. We stop at the mineral hot springs for a swim and we reach our camp in the late afternoon after that.

Day 4: Fish River Canyon, Quiver Tree Forest & Giants Playground
This morning we get up bright and early and travel to the Fish River Canyon which we arrive at early morning. We take a walk along the rim of the Canyon. We then make our way west to Keetmanshoop. This afternoon we explore Quiver Tree Forest and the Giants Playground.

Day 5: Namib-Naukluft National Park
We travel to towards the Namib Desert and the breath-taking dune fields. This evening we camp surrounded by the dune fields under a blanket of stars and night-time desert noises

Day 6: Sossusvlei Dunes – Namib Naukluft National Park
This morning we rise early to watch the golden sun-rays bask over the spectacular dune fields, a truly magical moment. We take a walk and climb Dune 45 to experience the spectacular desert vistas. We then enjoy a delicious breakfast and get into 4x4 vehicles as we make our way to Sossusvlei where we explore Sossusvlei and Deadvlei by foot. In the afternoon we take an informative walk, guided by an expert within the area.

Day 7 & 8: Swakopmund
Today we depart from the Namib and stop to take a picture at the Tropic of Capricorn as we make our way to the Atlantic coastline. We travel towards the seaside town of Swakopmund but first stop over at Walvis Lagoon where we can see Flamingo’s. Once we reach Swakopmund, there are a variety of optional activities to participate in today and the next day which will be spent at your own leisure.

Day 9: Spitzkoppe to Brandberg
We get up bright and early and travel to Spitzkoppe. There we find some amazing examples of ancient San rock art which we explore by a guided walk with our expert local guide.

Day 10: Brandberg White Lady
This morning we take an informative 1-hour hike to go view the Brandberg White Lady painting that is said to be well over 2000 years old. We then travel to Kamanjab.

Day 11 & 12: Etosha National Park
This morning we make our way to Etosha National Park for some of the most remarkable game viewing experiences in Africa. As soon as we reach the park, our game viewing begins as we travel to our rest camp. The next day is spent in it’s entirety game viewing and looking for all the abundant wildlife found in the park.

Day 13: Windhoek
We travel to Windhoek today. Once we reach Windhoek we take a walk through the city centre.

Day 14: Botswana - Ghanzi
We travel east today to abundant Botswana and the stunning Kalahari desert. This afternoon we experience a guided walk by members of the San community and this evening they perform a traditional dance for us that portrays their art of story-telling through dance.

Day 15 & 16: Okavango Delta
We wake up early and travel to Maun which we reach in the afternoon. There we have the chance to take a scenic flight over the Delta. The next morning we get up early and we are transferred by safari vehicle to our poling station. Here we meet our polers and they steer us through the waterways and reeds through stunning lagoons. We can see game such as elephant, giraffe, kudu, impala and zebra.

Day 17: Nata
Today we leave Maun and travel to the town of Nata. We have the chance to experience a guided game drive to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Nata Sanctuary.

Day 18: Chobe National Park
This morning we get up early and travel to the banks of the Chobe River. We explore the area in 4x4 vehicles where we can see many elephants. Later we take an enjoyable boat cruise and something to eat around the campfire.

Day 19 & 20: Zimbabwe – Victoria Falls
Today we cross the border into Zimbabwe and to the majestic Victoria Falls. We watch as the spectacular Zambezi river drops into the Batoka gorge below. There are a myriad of optional activities to do in the town as well as lovely coffee shops and craft markets.

Optional Activities: Visit Vic Falls, Bungee Jump, Gorge Swing, Sunset cruise, Helicopter Flights
Day 21: Victoria Falls to Francistown
Today we leave Victoria Falls, head for Botswana where we cross the border and make our way to Francistown which we reach in the late afternoon.

Day 22: Francistown to Johannesburg
We leave early and cross the border into South Africa and head for Johannesburg where we are invited to a traditional meal in the evening.

Day 23: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Today we leave Johannesburg and travel to the Kruger National Park where there is an optional Sundowner game drive which can be booked on departure this morning.

Day 24: Kruger National Park
We wake up bright and early and drive into Kruger National Park for a full day of game viewing on search for the Big 5. We take an awe-inspiring trip in 4x4 vehicles to experience the park from another viewpoint.

Day 25: Panorama Route
We travel to the Panorama Route where we visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes, The Three Rondavels and God’s window for some truly magnificent scenery and look-out points. Tonight there is another chance to do a Sundowner Drive

Day 26: Maputo, Mozambique
Today we enter Mozambique and the unspoiled beaches of a paradise. We stop in Maputo with it’s vibrant culture. There is some very interesting architecture to see or you can simply go shopping at the local market. Tonight we have the opportunity to experience the intriguing night-life and have some dinner.

Day 27 & 29: Inhambe – Barra Beach
Today we travel to the Inhambane District as we pass various villages and plantations of coconuts, cashews and sugar cane. We unwind for the next days surrounded by stunning beaches. There are a variety of optional excursions to partake in the next day.

Day 30: Vilanculos
This morning there is a chance to visit the market and historic streets of Inhambane which is surrounded by gorgeous beaches and palm trees. Later our journey takes us to Vilanculos.

Day 31: Bazaruto Excursion
This morning we take a traditional Dhow and sail to the islands of Bazaruto Archipelago. As we explore the islands, we do some snorkeling and unwind on the beaches.

Day 32: Xai Xai District
Today we set out for the Xai Xai district which we reach in the late afternoon. We have a chance to take a walk on the beach or enjoy a Sundowner and then it’s time to say goodbye to Mozambique

Day 33: Hlane Game Reserve, Eswatini
Today we travel early to Swaziland (Eswatini)

Day 34: Swaziland/Eswatini
This morning we enjoy a lovely morning game drive in Hlane Game Reserve and then we make our way to another fantastic reserve, Eswatini, Mlilwane.

Day 35: Swaziland/Eswatini
This morning we have a wonderful experience by exploring the trails of Mlilwane by foot. We have the chance to partake in the many optional activities in the area or just unwind after lunch.

Day 36: Johannesburg
Today our journey takes us back to Johannesburg which we reach in the late afternoon where we are invited to a traditional meal. This is where our tour comes to an end.
