Day 1: South Africa – Cedarberg Region
Our tour begins leaving Cape Town and the beautiful Table Mountain behind. We travel towards the Cedarberg region, home to the Rooibos Bush. We enjoy a traditional South African dinner as we get to know our fellow travellers.

Day 2: Namaqualand – Gariep (Orange) River
Today we take a trip through Namaqualand where we can see an array of wildflowers in the spring months but all year round there are some stunning desert scenery. We make a stop in Springbok and then make our way to the Orange River where we camp for the night

Day 3: Namibia – Gariep (Orange) River
Today we enjoy the longest river in South Africa, the Orange River. We have the opportunity to do an optional excursion on a canoe trip. In the afternoon we leave the Orange river behind and travel to Namibia. We make a stop at the mineral hot springs for a relaxing swim before we arrive at our overnight accommodation for the evening.

Day 4: Fish River Canyon, Quiver Tree Forest and Giants Playground
This morning we get up bright and early and travel to Fish River Canyon. We experience the morning sun as we reach the Canyon. We take a walk along the rim of the Canyon and then we make our way to Keetmanshoop. This afternoon we visit the Quiver Tree forest and the Giants Playground.

Day 5: Namib Naukluft National Park
Today we have a long travelling day as we venture into Namib Desert. As the scenery change we can expect to see red dune fields and grasslands. Tonight we camp in the dune fields for the night.

Days 6: Sossusvlei Dunes - Namib Naukluft National Park
This morning we wake up early to watch the spectacular sunrise over the red dunes. We climb Dune 45 for some more stunning desert vistas. We have breakfast and then take 4 x4 vehicles to Sossusvlei. We walk around the pans at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Tonight we sleep under the desert stars.

Day 7: Swakopmund
This morning we take an informative walk with an expert in the desert. Later we travel from the Namib towards the quaint town of Swakopmund. We stop on the way at the Tropic of Capricorn for some photo opportunities. We also stop at Walvis Bay where we might see the flamingos that feed around the area. As we reach Swakopmund we can start to enjoy some of the optional activities on offer.

Day 8: Swakopmund
Today we have the chance to explore Swakopmund and all the exciting optional activities on offer.

Day 9: Spitzkoppe to Brandberg
This morning we set out early towards Spitzkoppe where we can view some interesting ancient rock art of the San tribes people.

Days 10: Brandberg White Lady
Today we are in Brandberg (burning mountains) the highest mountains in Namibia. We take a hour walk to the White Lady, a famous rock painting that is around 2000 years old. There are more than 45 000 rock paintings in the area. We then travel to Kamanjab. there is a chance to visit an educational centre to learn more about the unique traditions and way of life of the Himba Tribe.

Day 11: Etosha National Park
This morning we wake up early and head for Etosha National Park where there is some of the best game viewing on offer in Africa. Later in the day as we arrive at the park we have our first game drive on our way to our camp for the night.

Day 12: Etosha National Park
Today we spend the whole day game viewing. We tour the edges of Etosha Pan looking for game.

Day 13: Windhoek
This morning we take a trip to Namibia’s capital city Windhoek where we take a guided walk through the city.

Day 14: Botswana – Ghanzi
Today we set out for Botswana and the Kalahari desert. In the afternoon we have an educational walk with the San community. This evening the San offers a cultural experience in song, dance and story-telling.

Day 15 & 16: Okavango Delta
We can enjoy the Okavango Delta by mokoro, where we explore the scenery steering through lily covered channels and lagoons. We may take a walk with the poler as we reach one of the islands. There is also a chance to take a scenic flight over the delta.
Meals: 2 x Breakfasts, 2 x Lunch, 2 x Dinners

Day 17: Nata
Today we leave Maun and travel towards Nata. There is a chance for an afternoon guided game drive to the Nata Sanctuary.

Day 18: Chobe National Park
This morning we are up early and make our way to the banks of the Chobe river. We start our tour of the Chobe National Park by 4 x 4 where we can see some elephants roaming in the area. Later in the day we take a boat cruise and we have something to eat around the campfire.

Day 19: Zimbabwe – Victoria Falls
Today we cross the border into Zimbabwe and travel to Victoria Falls. We can visit the Falls in our own time today. There are many optional activities on offer as well as craft markets and coffee shops.

Optional Activity: Visit the Vic Falls, Zambezi Sunset Cruise, bungee jump, Helicopter Flights, White water rafting
Day 20: Victoria Falls
Today we enjoy the Victoria falls at our own leisure with the many optional activities on offer.

Day 21: Victoria Falls to Francistown
Today we leave Victoria Falls and travel through Botswana to Francistown which we reach in the afternoon.

Day 22: Francistown to Johannesburg
This morning we tour to South Africa’s border and head for Johannesburg. Tonight we have the option to enjoy a traditional meal.

Day 23: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Today we depart from Johannesburg and travel through Mpumalanga and the lowveld towards Kruger National park. We set up our 3 night camp and marvel at a Sundowner drive

Day 24: Kruger National Park
Today we enjoy a full-day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park. We hop on open game viewing vehicles which take us to places that the trucks can’t always go.

Day 25: Kruger National Park – Panorama Route
This morning we take a guided bush walk. Then we exit the park and tour to the Panorama Route where we visit God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and The Three Rondavels. In the evening at camp we enjoy a scrumptious local dinner and dance.

Day 26: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
This morning we revel at our last game drive and then head for Belvedere estate which we reach in the afternoon. There is an option for a traditional meal this evening.
