Our journey begins from the Mother City of Cape Town driving through the Cedarberg Mountains towards Namibia. Explore the untouched beauty of the Namib Desert, go on search for wildlife in Etosha National Park. Experience an interaction with the San Bushman tribe in Botswana. Visit the bountiful Okavango Delta where we take a Mokoro trip through the reed and lily pad lined waterways. Visit Chobe National Park renowned for it's large elephant herds and finish off at one of the seven wonders of the world, the majestic Victoria Falls. Day 1: Cape Town
Today is an arrivals day, enjoy the variety of activities that the mother city has got to offer. Tonight, we have a pre-departure meeting before our adventure starts.

Meals: None


Day 2: Cape Town to Cedarberg Area
Our journey takes us around Table Bay with a spectacular view of Table Mountain as we make our way to the Cedarberg Mountain Range. This evening our campsite is nestled between the surrounding wine farms and provides some fantastic scenery. We can see a blanket of glittery stars as we begin our African Adventure.

Day 3: Cedarberg Area to the Gariep River
Leaving the beautiful mountain range of the Cedarberg, we head north through Namaqualand. Namaqualand has some stunning desert vistas and in the spring months an array of colourful spring flowers can be seen scattered in the landcapes that surround us. We make a stop at the town called Springbok to gather some supplies on our way to our campsite on the banks of the Orange River (Gariep).

Day 4: Gariep to Fish River Canyon
Today, as we cross over into Namibia, we make our way to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest Canyon on earth. As we follow the road that leads us around the eastern rim of the Canyon, we make some stops at viewpoints to take in the true magnitude of the ancient Canyon. Have your cameras ready and don't forget your binoculars!

Day 5: Fish River Canyon to Sesriem
This morning we rise bright and early, drive north and enter the Namib Naukluft desert. Here we find Sesriem, where our camp is based. We marvel at the sheer enormity of the Dunes and at night the stars take our breath away.

Day 6: Sesriem
This morning we explore the Namib Naukluft National Park and we climb the famous Dune 45. We then take the desert shuttles into the desert where we can take a walk to Sossusvlei.

Day 7: Sesriem to Swakopmund
We enjoy our breakfast and make our way to Walvis Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. We stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for a photo opportunity and then head for Swakopmund, the desert adventure town.

Day 8: Swakopmund
Swakopmund is a town with a lot of German history and influence. There are a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. A variety of optional activities are available here. Take a walk on the beach, visit a museum, the aquarium or go to an art gallery. Once we leave Swakopmund, we visit Spitzkoppe known as an ancient San Tribe sacred site. Explore the rock art paintings and spectacular views. We then travel to Brandberg (Burning Mountains).

Day 9: Swakopmund to Brandberg (UIS)
There are some fascinating examples of San Tribe Rock art painted on the rock formations in Brandberg Some of the art is up to 4000 years old.

Day 10: Brandberg (UIS) to Etosha National Park Area
Today we travel to Etosha where our campsite is situated.

Day 11: Etosha National Park Area
We explore Etosha National Park, home to a variety of wildlife, have some lunch and as the day cools down, we head out again for another game drive. tonight our camp is based on the outskirts of the park. Enjoy some leisurely time by taking a dip in the pool or enjoy a sundowner on the deck before dinner. There is a very unusual bar at our campsite.

Day 12: Etosha National Park
Today we go on search for wildlife on a full day's game drive. tonight we relax at the campsite, enjoy some dinner and watch the animals go down for a drink at the waterhole.

Day 13: Etosha National Park to Windhoek
This morning we have breakfast and take our last game drive as we exit the park. We drive past picturesque landscapes and little rural towns. Once we reach Windhoek, we take some time to explore the capital city.

Optional Activities: Dinner at Joe's Beer House


Day 14: Windhoek to Ghanzi
This morning we leave very early and enter stunning Botswana and the town of Ghanzi in the centre of the Kalahari District. We have the chance to gain some insight into the San Tribe's unusual traditions and way of life and how they survive the harshness of the desert.

Day 15: Ghanzi to Maun
Maun is where our Okavango Delta exploration starts. This evening we have some preparation time for our overnight excursion.

Day 16: Maun to Okavango Delta
We wake up bright and early, pack up and drive for two hours to our Mokoro Poler's station. We pass lots of interesting rural villages where the people still live very much in a traditional way. As the villages are very distant, they can mainly be reached by Mokoro, which is a traditional dug-out canoe. As our polers lead us through the lily pad and reed lined waterways we go on search for game in this beautiful natural habitat. Once we reach our mobile tented camp, we are shown around and we have either the chance to just relax, take a guided walk or another Mokoro ride.

Day 17: Okavango Delta to Maun
We take our Mokoro ride, transfer to vehicles and arrive back in Maun around lunch. Today there is an opportunity to take a scenic flight over the Delta.

Day 18: Maun to Nata Region
Today we leave this gorgeous part of Botswana behind as we head for our abundant campsite, Elephant Sands. At camp we have the chance to do a game drive or bush walk.

Day 19: Nata Region to Chobe National Park
Today we drive to Kasane. This is where we camp on the banks of the Chobe River, which forms the natural border between Botswana, Namibia and Zambia. Game such as elephant, hippo and a variety of bird species can be found here.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 20: Chobe National Park
This morning we can either decide to sleep in or visit Kasane. Once we have packed, we depart for our Chobe National Park Overnight Mobile Excursion. Chobe is renowned for large elephant herds. We enjoy a game drive as we drive to our camp.

Day 21: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
Once we are back at camp, we board our truck and make our way to the Zimbabwean border. From there it's a short drive to Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. The next two days are spent taking part in the many optional activities in the town.

Day 22: Victoria Falls
Our tour comes to an end after breakfast this morning.
