Kruger Park Camping Safari

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger Park
After an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Johannesburg and we head off to the Kruger Park. Travelling across the Highveld we descend the Drakensberg escarpment to the Low veld en route to the Kruger Park and our established camp. We do stop for lunch. (own account)

After a rest we head off for a sunset game drive. Sunset/night drives give an opportunity to view nocturnal animals. Returning to camp we enjoy a delicious meal under the stars. Accommodation is permanent safari tents with beds and bedding.

Day 2: Kruger National Park
We wake up early and head out in open 4x4 vehicles in search of Kruger’s famous wildlife. Your knowledgeable guide will point out the various animals and birds and knows where to locate the best sightings. You can swap this game drive for a day trip to visit the scenic Panoramic Route. Please ask your consultant for more information.

You will return to camp to get a bit of rest before heading on another sunset/night drive. For those keen on spotting predators this will certainly be a highlight as most predators are active around this time.

Returning to camp we have some time to relax and enjoy dinner before falling asleep to the sounds of the African bush.

Day 3: Kruger Park to Johannesburg
After a final game drive or bush walk we enjoy breakfast and depart Kruger to get back to Johannesburg. Note that it is recommended that you spend the night in Johannesburg or alternatively book your flights for late evening.
