Kenya to Zanzibar including Serengeti Package

Day 1: Nairobi
Today is an arrivals day and you are free to explore Nairobi in your own leisure.

Meals: None

Day 2: Nairobi to Arusha
This morning we depart from Nairobi and continue towards the border in to Tanzania at Namanga. This evening we camp in Meserani, just outside of Arusha.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Arusha to Karatu
Today we take a trip to the Meserani Reptile Park and Masai Cultural Museum. Lunch time we dine at our camp and then take 4 x4’s for some exploration of the area. We travel through the Masai town of Mtu Wa Mbu (Mosquito River) which is beside the Lake Manyara National Park. We then tour up the Rift Valley towards the village of Karatu where we camp for the night.

Day 4: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National park
Bright and early this morning we leave for the Ngorongoro Conservation area towards Ngorongoro Crater where we can see vast savannahs, acacia trees and lakes. This is where we may spot a Black Rhino.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Arusha
This morning we take a sensational game drive to view some of the wildlife on search for the Big 5. After an exciting day of game viewing we spend the night reminiscing over the wildlife we were so lucky to see today.

Day 6: Arusha to Pangani
This morning we drive to Arusha for some supplies and head for Dar es Salaam. We drive through Moshi and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. We also see the Usambara and Pare Mountains until we reach our campsite.

Days 7: Pangani to Dar es Salaam
Today we tour to Dar es Salaam. On the way we pass abundant scenery and palm trees as we get closer to the Indian ocean. As we arrive in Dar es Salaam we reach our beautiful seaside campsite.

Day 8: Dar es Salaam Zanzibar
Today we take a ferry from Dar es Salaam to “Spice Island” where we stay for the next three nights.

Included Activity: Zanzibar Excursion, Spice Tour and Dhow Excursion

Day 9 & 10: Zanzibar
Zanzibar is rich with heritage and offers many amazing cultural experiences. One can take one of the many excursions like around a spice plantation or take a tour around some of the most stunning beaches and see giant tortoises at Prison Island. You could marvel in a scuba dive in Nungwe or take a fishing trip in a dhow. There are many restaurants where you can sample some local seafood. It’s not expensive and plentiful.

Day 11: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam
This afternoon we depart from Zanzibar for Dar es Salaam where we go our separate ways after a truly magical trip.
