The Kruger National Park is South Africa's premier destination. No trip to Africa is complete without a safari to experience Africa’s famous wildlife and the Kruger Park is Southern Africa’s largest and most popular game reserve. The Kruger Park has a subtropical climate providing ideal conditions for wildlife to thrive and is a perfect destination for safari tours. Surrounding the Kruger Park are the private reserves and in many areas the fences have been removed to allow the animals to roam free. The private reserves are popular and offer a variety of accommodation from 5 star lodges to budget camping, and many of the safari packages offered are accommodated in the private game reserves surrounding the Kruger Park.

Kruger Park safaris are mainly done in especially adapted open 4x4 vehicles which allow for great viewing. Game drives are conducted in both the private reserves as well as the Kruger proper and given the high concentration of game in the area you are certain to experience excellent wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities.
