DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG TO GREATER KRUGER

We depart Johannesburg and head for the Greater Kruger where our safari adventure begins. After travelling through the Highveld farmlands, we descend the Drakensberg Escarpment into the Lowveld, home to some of the most pristine private game reserves in South Africa.

We arrive at Thornhill Safari Lodge in time for a delicious lunch. We then venture out on a late afternoon/ early evening Big Five game drive in open 4x4 Safari vehicles in one of the neighboring private game reserves. Sundowner drinks and snacks are enjoyed at one of the waterholes where we take in the sights, sounds and smells of the African Bushveld before continuing our game drive into the night. After an exciting evening, we return to the lodge to experience a traditional South African dinner.

DAY 2: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

We start the day with an early rise. Your guide will welcome you with coffee and rusks before beginning a day of exploration in the renowned Kruger National Park.

Kruger National Park offers an unrivaled wildlife experience that ranks with the best not only in Africa but around the world. Its rich history dates back to 1898, and its goal has always been to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld. Today, this national treasure offers two million hectares of unspoiled African bushveld and captivating wildlife. Look forward to a safari experience that unfolds from the moment you enter the Kruger Park and explore the best game drive routes the park has to offer.

We break at a remote picnic site to enjoy a scrumptious brunch before continuing our game drive discovering the unspoiled wilderness that makes the Kruger National Park so special. Our journey continues as we stop off at the various viewpoints and waterholes whilst game viewing and bird watching along the way.

We return to the lodge and enjoy yet another taste of traditional African cuisine before retiring to the peaceful sounds of the African night.

DAY 3: PANORAMIC ROUTE

Embark on a day tour that unveils the breathtaking natural marvels of Mpumalanga province. This magnificent route is best known for its cultural heritage and its dramatic landscapes. The Panorama route encompasses visits to Bourke's Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls, Graskop, and God's Window. This lush region is home to a number of magnificent natural features such as striking rock formations, beautiful waterfalls, spectacular endemic flora and fauna and awe-inspiring views.

DAY 4: GREATER KRUGER TO JOHANNESBURG

We begin our day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on an early morning game walk exploring the reserve on foot. Our qualified field guides will share their passion with you as you learn some fascinating facts about the environment and its inhabitants that surround you.

After a tasty breakfast, we head back to Johannesburg via the scenic Drakensberg Escarpment. We will make a quick pit stop at Blyde River Canyon to stretch our legs and get a few more photos. Your driver will drop you off at Safari Club in Johannesburg where you will spend the evening before catching your flight to Vic Falls the following day.

DAY 5: VICTORIA FALLS

As you touch down at Victoria Falls International Airport, our friendly team will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation. That afternoon we head out for a breathtaking sunset cruise along the majestic Zambezi River.

This evening guests can choose between a dinner on the boat or a boma dinner.

Dinner cruise: Embark on an unforgettable dinner cruise along the Zambezi River, where you can soak in the magical colors of the sunset while enjoying a one-of-a-kind four-course dinner.

Boma dinner: If you're a foodie eager to dive into traditional Zimbabwean flavours, The Boma dinner is a must-try. Picture this: a four-course meal featuring mouth-watering starters, hearty soups, a scrumptious barbecue buffet, fresh salad bar and buffet area filled with tempting desserts.

DAY 6: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

After a satisfying breakfast, we head to Chobe National Park, situated just 100km west of Victoria Falls. We will begin the day with a morning game drive, accompanied by your experienced guide who will lead you to the prime locations for spotting wildlife. The park boasts the highest concentration of elephants in Africa, setting the stage for an incredible experience. As the afternoon arrives, prepare for a mesmerizing sunset cruise along the Chobe River. This cruise offers a great chance to observe wildlife up close and get some incredible photographs.

(Note that these activities can be done vice versa, we might need to start with the cruise and end with a game drive, depending on the weather)

DAY 7: VICTORIA FALLS

We start the day with a delicious breakfast before setting off on a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls at 8 am. (Note that entry fee is of your own account. Please budget approx USD 50 per person.)

Around 10:30 am, we'll bring you back to your hotel, giving you a chance to rejuvenate before your guide arrives at 11 am to accompany you to the airport so you can catch your flight home.
