Kruger Park and Panorama Route Comfort Safari

Day 1: Hazeyview and Kruger National Park
We collect clients at OR Tambo International airport or lodges in the area between 6:00 - 7.00 am. On booking your consultant will help advise on where to stay and pick up points.

We travel East Towards the Kruger National Park, we will stop in Hazeyview where our comfortable lodge awaits us.
A welcome to the lodge is followed by a light lunch a bit of time to settle in before our first exciting activity.

At 3.30pm your game viewing vehicles will be ready with your guide on hand to help you up. Here we go for our first safari in the Kruger National Park, we never know when that sighting might happen so always be ready. Our guides will go out of their way to use their knowledge to find the best sightings, Expect to see some of the animals in the Big 5 on this first safari. Sunset is a great time to see wildlife and we will continue on a night drive until 8pm after which we will make our way back to the lodge in time for a well deserved dinner.

Day 2: Kruger National Park
What an exciting day we have planned, we get up early to take advantage of what is called the Golden Hour where wildlife is active. Your guide will be waiting on an open 4 x 4 with packed breakfasts to take along. We begin our full day in the Kruger National Park. We will game drive along the many roads that traverse the Southern Kruger, this area in particular is known for some of the best sightings. We look for Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes as well as the many other species that inhabit the Kruger. Nature is unpredictable so we never know what amazing sighting is waiting around the corner.

We will drive for 3 hours after which we will stop at one of the rest camps in the Kruger for breakfast, coffee and stretch our legs. Nice time to check what photos we have managed to get and decide what area we are going to try next.

We then continue on our game drive to different areas taking in the wildlife around us and learning about the different eco systems that make up the Kruger. We will stop again for lunch at one of the rest camps where there is a little restaurant for clients to get their own lunch . From there we will slowly game drive back to the lodge expecting to arrive back around 3pm. After a day in the Kruger we have time to relax before before a hearty dinner and tales to tell of the day's sightings.

Day 3: Gods Window and the Panorama Route
Today we include a daytrip to the along the beautiful Panorama Route, guests come from far and wide to indulge in the beautiful views this route offers.

The day starts with breakfast at 7.30am after which we board a mini bus and make way for the various views and stops on the route.

Along the way your guide will inform you of the history of the area as well as some of the geography that leads to the interesting landscape formations. Highlights that we will visit is Bourke's Luck Pot Holes, the magnificent view of the 3 Rondavels in the Blyde River Canyon, dense vegetation, deep gorges with rivers, dams and waterfalls with awe inspiring views.

We will stop in the little town of Graskop for lunch and curio shopping,

The highlight of the day for many is the spectacular Gods Window, do bring walking shoes along as there is a short walk to the top where the views are incredible. 1000 meters below one can see as far as the Kruger. Many will find a spot to sit and reflect while taking in the magnificent landscape below

Today we have a slightly later start, beginning the day with a hot, scrumptious breakfast at 7.30am.Your guide will be ready and waiting at 8am where we will begin a day trip along the panorama route to see arguably South Africa's most iconic views.

After a fun filled day we should get back to the lodge at 4pm. Time to relax, have dinner and get ready for another safari early the next morning.

Day 4: Kruger National Park
Early Morning is when the air is crisp and the animals are active, your guide will be ready for you at sunrise with packed breakfasts. A morning coffee and we are off on another morning safari in the Kruger National Park. Like before we will traverse the various roads in the Kruger known to be hot spots for viewings. You guide will will be full of information about Kruger's variose wildlife species, as well as the habitat they live in. Although it is always a highlight to see the big 5 you will be amazed at the amounts of smaller lesser known animals that the park is home to as well as bird life. We will game drive for 3 hours and then stop at a restcamp for breakfast and a bathroom break before slowly game driving back to the lodge.

A tasty lunch will be served at the lodge after which the afternoon is yours to relax, have a swim or walk along some of the walking trails around the lodge.

Day 5: Morning Safari in an Open vehicle & Return Transfer to Johannesburg
We begin our final day with an early morning game drive, you guide will pick you up again with packed breakfasts on an open 4 x 4. Our last chance to see the animals and catch the crisp early morning air of the Kruger National Park. Every day in nature is different, who knows what sighting awaits us. We game drive until about 11am after which we will return to the lodge to pick up our bags and transfer back to Johannesburg.

We expect to arrive at Johannesburg Airport (O R Tambo) and surrounding hotels between 5 - 6PM. There you will depart to your various lodges and hotels after a great safari experience.
